Batsford Timber is a family-run business that over the years has developed into a trusted supplier and one-stop shop when it comes to everything fencing.

How it started; from Fencing in The Midlands to Batsford Timber.

First established in 1989, Batsford Timber was founded by at the time fencing contractor Bob Clark who ran a company called ‘Fencing in The Midlands’. During his time as a fencer based in the Cotswolds, Bob had trouble sourcing quality timber materials.

Naturally, Bob decided he needed to reach out and source the materials for himself. Having acquired surplus stock and with other contractors being the same predicament, Bob soon found himself suppling to others in the industry.

And this is how it all started, Batsford Timber was born.

Today, Batsford Timber operates two depots in the South West of England supplying loyal customers up and down the country. Our fleet of transport vehicles allow us to deliver direct to you, no matter your location.

We pride ourselves on our knowledge, customer experience and the products we stock.

From large agricultural fencing projects to home garden improvements, we have the timber and tools you need to get the job done properly. Our products range from creosote treated stakes to garden sheds and everything in between.
